Change Can Happen
Together, we can bring democracy to the presidential election.
The division and gridlock in our government is unacceptable. The Electoral College is a barrier to democracy. The presidential election should be determined by the popular vote. Here is what we will do:
1. Educate
Help people understand the why the “winner take-all” rule for awarding electoral votes is the cause of the problem, and that it is within the authority of each state to amend this rule.
2. Support
Team with initiatives, organizations, and politicians who support the popular vote.
3. Advocate
Work with lawmakers on a state-by-state basis to enact the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact
