This message was sent to us by a friend in our home town who is working to make elimination of the Electoral College a League of Women Voters action focus in 2018.
To any/all of our supporters who are members of the League of Women Voters, help spread the word– and if you’re not currently a member, please consider joining.
If you belong to the League of Women Voters, you probably know that the LWV-United States already has a position supporting a change to a popular vote system for electing the president and vice-president of the U.S. You can attend your local league’s program planning meeting in January-February and send feedback that you would like LWVUS to make this existing position an action focus for the 2018-2020 biennium. You can also encourage your local league to put on programs, write letters, and other actions using this existing position.
