The Denver Womxn’s March on Saturday January 18th is a day of action! The Womxn’s March theme for 2020 is “Our Vote is Our Voice”. This makes it a great opportunity to show our support of the National Popular Vote.
Please plan on joining us that morning to share our message with volume! We will pick a place and time to meet up before the March so that we can march as a group. The more we have in our group, the more impact we will make. Does anyone have a megaphone we can use?
We will send out more details later, but please do save the date – and start thinking about the kind of sign you want to hold up for this. In past marches, I have gotten a real kick of seeing the creativity that people put into their signs. Our basic messages are “Every Vote Equal” and “One Person, One Vote” and “The Person with the Most Votes Should Win”, but for the more creative of us, there are probably interesting graphics or pictures or other ways of saying this.
